Description: Government Contract providing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform commissary stocking, custodial and warehousing services at the Davis-Monthan AFB Commissary.
We employed 55 people at this location providing services at the Commissary, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The Davis-Monthan Commissary was recognized and awarded the Best Large Commissary in the United States for 1998. We were also awarded Second Best Commissary in 1997 and Third Place in 1996. The Best Commissary award is the most prestigious award a Commissary can receive. We have most recently been nominated to compete for the Best Commissary for 1999.
The Davis-Monthan Commissary is considered a large military grocery store with sales in excess of 45 million dollars per year. We perform the day and night stocking which requires us to stock over 1,200,000 cases per year. We order receive and warehouse all merchandise and products that we stock. We offload, breakdown for receipt and warehouse approximately 1.8 million cases per year at this location.
